Wordless Wednesday

This is really, really hard. I have a nearly irresistible urge to explain that I took this picture on a recent trip to D.C. with my ninth graders, that the detail, the life in this memorial took my breath away.

But, luckily, I have more than enough willpower to refrain from ruining the entire premise of "Wordless Wednesday." Whew.

Love the picture. I am trying to figure out where that is... so familiar!!!! (I spent a summer as a licensed DC tour guide and youth in government program director)

Great shot - love the crop & angle of it. Being wordless can be very difficult especially when you have a personal story to share with the photo. :)

Mine is up here. Happy WW!

Love the picture... and I'm not sure I could handle a field trip with 9th graders... you must be pretty patient.

Happy WW! My WW is the first set of my wedding photos!

Good picture. I like the angle and the way the horse's leg leads you out of the picture, as if it's running forward.

You can always join in at Tell Me Thursday which is all about 'telling about' your Wordless Wednesday. I love it cause I feel the same way too sometimes.

I would love to visit DC sometime. Never had the opportunity. Thanks for stopping by.
